[NEWS] ZE:A Dongjun shines during the Lunar holiday!

Kim Dongjun (19) of group ZE:A had outstanding activities during the Lunar New Year holidays.

Firstly, Dongjun challenged his first acting role, achieved a passing mark in being an ‘acting-dol’ and showed the potential to succeed. He plays the role of being the classmate with a fluent Busan accent of female lead Jung Eunchae in Lunar New Year special drama ‘Crossing Yeongdo Bridge’, a Lunar New Year special drama, broadcast on the 4th February. After his debut, he gained the nickname “Male Han Ga-in” due to their somewhat similar looks. His delicate looks and accent have captivated viewers. It was comfortable for him to act with an accent because his hometown is in Busan.

He also shines as an ‘athletic-dol’. In the previous broadcast [T/N: During Chuseok 2010] of MBC Idol Star Athletics Championship, he displayed explosive speed and gained the nickname of ‘athletic-dol’ after beating out Jokwon to #1 in the 100m sprint segment. And in the Lunar New Year special episodes of MBC Idol Star Athletics-Swimming Championship, he also defeated 2AM’s Jokwon with a timing of 6.02 seconds in the 50m sprint segment. Kim Dongjun’s record of 6.04 seconds in the 50m sprint segment heats does not differ much from the world record of 5.56 seconds. Even ex-athlete Jang Jaegeun was surprised.

The fans who watched the program wrote on various portal boards that “he shines with both his delicate looks and athletic body”, and “it’s nice to see him work hard at everything”, applauding Kim Dongjun.
